Counting of votes begins in Kudni Assembly by-election, results expected by afternoon

Muzaffarpur: The counting of votes in Bihar’s Kudhni meeting by-election has began at 8 am and the outcomes are anticipated by afternoon. Strict safety preparations have been made for the counting of votes on the native RDS faculty. After the counting of postal ballots, the work of counting of votes closed in Digital Voting Machine (EVM) began.

Final Monday, out of three lakh 11 thousand 728 voters, 57.90 p.c exercised their franchise at 320 polling stations and the destiny of 13 candidates was sealed in EVMs. Kedar Prasad Gupta of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Manoj Kushwaha of the Janata Dal United (JDU) candidate from the Grand Alliance are within the fray from this seat. Other than these two, Neelabh Kumar from Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) and Mohd from All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). Ghulam Murtaza has additionally entered the election enviornment to attempt his luck.
