He stated, “If the annual consumption of diesel in 2020-21 is 72,713 thousand metric tonnes, then the extra burden on the general public within the final twelve days is Rs 52,353 crore. That’s, the extra burden from petrol and diesel alone is Rs 72,491 crore.
