New Delhi: Merchants decreased the scale of their offers as a result of weak demand, which led to a lack of 0.47 per cent to Rs 2,759 a barrel on Thursday within the futures market.
On the Multi Commodity Alternate, the crude oil contract for supply for the month of November was down by Rs 13, or 0.47 per cent, to Rs 2,759 per barrel. It traded for 3,589 heaps. Nevertheless, the contract for supply in Kachetel’s December rose by Rs 6, ie 0.21 per cent to Rs 2,816 per barrel. It traded for 98 heaps.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was down 1.42 p.c to $ 38.86 a barrel and Brent crude was down 1.43 p.c to $ 38.56 a barrel. (Company)
