MUMBAI: A Dalit scholar at IIT Bombay dedicated suicide by leaping from the seventh ground of the hostel. Darshan Solanki (18), a first-year B.Tech scholar, died. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon. Varied scholar organizations alleged that caste discrimination towards Solanki within the campus led to her suicide.
