Dense fog blankets Delhi-NCR, impacts rail-air traffic, more than 40 flights and 25 trains affected

Dense fog blanketed many components of Delhi-NCR on Wednesday, lowering visibility to lower than 50 meters at many locations. As a result of this, flights, rail and highway site visitors had been affected. As a result of fog, site visitors was gradual and passengers confronted issues in reaching their locations.

The Indian Meteorological Division (IMD) had predicted dense to very dense fog to proceed over northwest India and components of central India for three-four days. The IMD classifies fog depth into 4 sorts – mild, reasonable, dense and really dense fog. Throughout this era the visibility ranges from 999 meters to 500 meters, 499 meters to 200 meters, 199 meters to 50 meters and fewer than 50 meters respectively.
