Kolkata: No one is unaware of the terror incident after the results were announced in the state. Many people have fled their homes to seek refuge elsewhere. In East Burdwan’s Kalna assembly constituency, 50 to 60 BJP workers have fled their homes to seek refuge in the neighboring district of Nadia. After meeting them, BJP MP and incumbent MLA Jagannath Sarkar assured to stay by their side.

This time the Bengalis fled the state. Former Assam minister and current BJP MLA Himanta Bishwa Sharma said BJP workers were taking refuge in Assam, a neighboring BJP-ruled state of Bengal, to save lives from post-poll terrorism.

Himanta Bishwa Sharma wrote in a tweet, ‘300 to 400 BJP workers have come to Dhubri for fear of escalating violence in Bengal. We provided them with food and shelter. Didi should stop this naked dance of democracy. Bengali would get something better than this. ” Himanta Bishwa Sharma also tweeted a few pictures in the wake of the incident.

Former Assam Education Minister Himanta Bishwa Sharma wrote in a tweet on Monday, ‘It has been 24 hours since the BJP won in Assam. A Congress worker was not even mocked, let alone beaten. But the sisters and grandfathers of Bengal have created an atmosphere of terror, BJP workers are being killed, does the civilized society see the difference? ”

On the other hand, Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee is reportedly going to hold a meeting with top officials on the current situation in the state and the spread of violence.
