Do not lock HIL; Elamaram Kareem handed over the letter

New Delhi
CPI (M) Rajya Sabha chief Elamaram Kareem has written a letter to Minister Mansukh Mandav demanding that the choice to shut the Kochi Udyog Mandal Hindustan Pesticides Restricted (HIL) unit be withdrawn. The establishment can be on the listing ready by the Finance Fee for closure. HIL administration can be prepared for it. It’s the first Central Public Sector Endeavor in Kerala. And the one pesticide manufacturing firm within the area. It’s the irresponsible angle of the administration that has led to the current state of affairs.

For just a few years, all energy was vested within the Delhi headquarters. Not even uncooked supplies have been offered. With out correct planning it could actually result in enormous losses. The closure was a unilateral transfer by administration with out consulting the commerce unions. The revitalization potential of the unit must be explored as quickly as attainable. Or defend staff by making them a subsidiary unit of FACT. Motion have to be taken to guard the 250 staff and households who rely upon this unit alone. The HIL land close to Container Highway in Elur can be utilized successfully by FACT, the letter mentioned.
