LUCKNOW : Six-year-old Mustafa has survived a constructing collapse through which he misplaced his mom Uzma and grandmother Begum Haider.
Mustafa, who’s amongst 14 survivors, is presently underneath therapy on the SPM Civil Hospital and is claimed to be out of hazard.
The boy mentioned that it was the teachings realized from his favourite cartoon present that saved his life.
“I was terrified but I recalled an episode of the cartoon show ‘Doraemon’ in which Nobita (the central character of the series) was taught about protecting himself during an earthquake by taking shelter in corners or under the bed. Without wasting a second, I took shelter under the bed,” Mustafa recounted.
He mentioned: “I saw mummy running and screaming. In no time, the entire building collapsed and everything became dark.”
Mustafa’s father Abbas Haidar, who’s a Samajwadi Party spokesperson, was not at house on the time of the incident, whereas his grandfather, Amir Haidar, a veteran Congress chief, has survived the incident.
The boy was not advised about his mom’s demise until Wednesday night.
The household had celebrated the golden jubilee of Mustafa’s grandparents’ marriage ceremony on Monday.
