Mozilla, the developer of the Firefox Web browser, has unveiled a brand new startup referred to as Mozilla.ai, which the corporate hopes will ‘construct a trusted and unbiased open-source AI ecosystem.’ The corporate mentioned that it’s initially investing $30 million to construct this new startup.
Mark Surman, Mozilla’s govt chairman and head of Mozilla.AI, mentioned in a blogpost, “Mozilla.AI aims to make it easier to develop reliable AI products. We’ll be building things and working/collaborating with the people who make our difference.” ²Share a imaginative and prescient of AI with company, accountability, transparency and openness at its core. Mozilla.AI might be a gathering place for like-minded founders, builders, scientists, product managers and builders outdoors of huge tech and academia. “
