NTPC, Kotak Mahindra Financial institution, Titan, Nestle, HUL, Maruti Suzuki, Asian Paints, HDFC Financial institution, Bharti Airtel, Solar Pharma and Axis Financial institution have been the highest gainers within the Sensex pack. L&T, TCS, JSW Metal, HCL Tech, Wipro, Tata Metal, Tech Mahindra and SBI have been the highest losers. Auto, Fin Companies, FMCG, Realty and Personal Financial institution have been the highest gainers on the NSE. Pharma, IT, PSU Financial institution, Metallic, Infra and PSE indices closed below stress.
