ED confiscated the assets of KM Shaji’s wife

Kozhikode: The ED has confiscated the belongings of Asha Shaji, spouse of former MLA and League chief KM Shaji. Property value Rs 25 lakh was seized. The motion was taken beneath the Anti-Cash Laundering Act. Shaji, who was Azhikode MLA, owns homes and different properties within the constituency.

It’s not clear during which case the motion will happen. Earlier, an investigation was launched in opposition to Shaji in reference to unlawful acquisition of property. ED had questioned Shaji a number of occasions. Shaji and his spouse have been questioned by the ED two months in the past on this case.
