Effect of cyclone 'Remal' is visible in Bengal, heavy rains have started in East Medinipur, know when and where the storm will hit

Balasore, Bhadrak and Kendrapara coastal districts of northern Odisha will obtain heavy rains on May 26-27, whereas Mayurbhanj can also be more likely to obtain heavy rainfall on May 27. The IMD has warned of flooding and heavy injury to weak constructions, energy and communication strains, kutcha roads, crops and orchards in South and North 24 Parganas districts of West Bengal.

People within the affected areas have been suggested to stay indoors. The cyclone can also be anticipated to have an effect on the Sundarbans mangrove forest. The Sundarbans is among the largest forests on the earth and is thought for its various fauna together with 260 species of birds, the Bengal tiger and different endangered species such because the estuarine (saltwater) crocodile and the Indian python.
