Encounter between security forces and terrorists in Patnitop, Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir

Following details about 40-50 hardcore overseas militants energetic within the mountainous areas of Jammu division, the Military has deployed over 4,000 para commandos and troops educated in mountain warfare within the division's mountainous districts of Poonch, Rajouri, Doda, Udhampur, Kathua and Reasi.

These safety forces have been deployed on the mountain peaks to thwart any sort of hit-and-run assaults by the terrorists. Earlier, these forces used to launch shock assaults by ambushing terrorists in these areas after which disappearing within the dense forest areas of those districts. The military's technique goals to flush out the terrorists from the dense forests and inexperienced areas of those hilly districts.
