Farmers' violence in Haveri being investigated: Karnataka Home Minister

Bengaluru: Karnataka Home Minister G. Parameshwara on Tuesday stated an investigation was underway to search out out who instigated the violence in Haveri after the costs of the well-known Byadagi chilli crop fell within the Byadagi APMC market.

In 2022, Byadgi chilli received a bumper worth of Rs 76,000 per quintal. Byadagi police is investigating the matter.
