Due to the increasing impact of corona infection in Madhya Pradesh, three major cities, Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur, have been banned today. The full 32-hour lockdown continues, allowing people connected to essential services to move, yet there is complete silence in the streets and markets. The daily number of corona patients in the state has crossed 13 hundred.
Bhopal has the highest number of 345 patients, 317 in Indore and 116 in Jabalpur. Apart from this, the number of patients in other parts of the state is also increasing rapidly. Keeping this in mind, passenger buses coming to and from Maharashtra have been banned.
Use of masks has been made necessary for prevention of infection of Koreana, whereas, Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur have been banned from 10 am on Saturday night to 6 am on Monday. Due to this 32-hour shutdown, security forces are deployed on the roads, barricades have been installed in different places. Necessary services continue at an uninterrupted pace, while there is a complete ban on general movement. The streets are silent, the markets are completely closed and the streets are deserted.
The state government has decided that permission will have to be obtained from the administration to organize social functions during the lockdown on Sunday in Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur. Schools and colleges will remain closed till March 31 in all three cities.
