A employee died of burns in an explosion in a firecracker manufacturing unit in Kundanur. Manikandan (Krishna Das – 50) died at Alathur Kavaseri Pudhuveet. The accident occurred round 5 pm on Monday. Manikandan, who was present process therapy on the medical faculty, died at 7.30 am on Tuesday. Within the incident, Vadakanchery police arrested the land proprietor Puzhaikkal Sundarakshan and the licensee Kallivalapil Srinivasan who’re natives of Kundanur.
