Five arrested in connection with stone pelting during anti-encroachment drive in Jammu

JAMMU: 5 individuals have been arrested and 4 others detained in reference to stone-pelting throughout final week’s anti-encroachment drive in Jammu. The police gave this data on Monday. He stated that on Saturday, three policemen have been injured in stone pelting in the course of the marketing campaign to demolish the automobile showroom constructed on the encroached plot in Malik Market in Narwal Bypass space.

In line with the police, the proprietor of the showroom, Sajjad Ahmed Baig, was amongst these arrested. A senior police officer advised PTI, “We have arrested five people and detained four others in connection with stone pelting during the anti-encroachment drive here.” Officers stated that each one of them are being interrogated at Trikuta Nagar police station.
