Manipur Police claimed that rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs) and drones have been used within the assault.
Based on an official assertion in regards to the gun and bomb assault, “In an unprecedented attack in Koutruk, Imphal West, alleged militants fired multiple RPGs using high-tech drones, whereas drone bombs have been commonly used in normal warfare. This recent deployment of drones to carry explosives with the aim of targeting security forces and civilians shows a significant increase in the strength of the militants.”
The assertion stated that the potential of involvement and cooperation of extremely skilled professionals with technical experience can’t be dominated out.
Based on the assertion, “Officials are closely monitoring the situation and the police is prepared to deal with any contingency.”
The state authorities has appealed to the individuals to keep up peace.
“Search operations are ongoing to flush out any hostile, intrusive elements,” the assertion stated.
