Former CM Shivraj Chauhan turns 65, leaders extend best wishes

Bhopal: Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan turned 65 on Tuesday.

Born on March 5, 1959, in Jait village of Sehore district to Prem Singh Chauhan and Sunder Bai, Chauhan is a graduate in philosophy. He began his political journey from his faculty days in Bhopal.

Politicians from all political events wished him on his birthday. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, who was the upper schooling minister in Chouhan's earlier cupboard, visited the previous chief minister's residence to increase his heat needs.

“Hearty congratulations to respected brother, former Chief Minister Chouhan Shivraj ji on his birthday. May the blessings of Baba Shri Mahakal ji always remain with you. May your resolutions for public welfare and progress be fulfilled. I wish you good health and long life,” the Chief Minister wrote on social media.

Veteran Congress chief Kamal Nath, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and a number of other different BJP leaders additionally prolonged their heat needs to Chouhan.

“Happy birthday to former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. I pray to God for your long life and healthy life,” Kamal Nath wrote on social media.

Chauhan mentioned, “Today I have completed 64 years of my life. My entire life has been dedicated to serving the people and I will continue to do so. I am thankful to God who made me serve the people. Serving people is the real meaning of life and this is also my goal.”

Mohan Yadav changed Chouhan because the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, after serving as Chief Minister for greater than 17 years (apart from transient durations). He’s set to return to the Middle as he’ll contest the Lok Sabha elections from Vidisha constituency.

He joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in 1972 on the age of 13 and continues to be recognized for his closeness to its high leaders. He’s recognized for his plans and measures for the eradication of feminine foeticide.

He was elected as a Member of Parliament in 1991, 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2004.
