Former Punjab minister arrested in bribery case


Former Punjab Minister Sundar Sham Arora arrested in bribery case. Arora was arrested by the Punjab Vigilance Bureau for providing a bribe of Rs 50 lakh to the official to settle the case. Arora, who was the trade minister within the earlier Congress authorities, is dealing with a vigilance case for unlawful acquisition of property and irregularities. The officer was provided a bribe to settle this. Arora, who was a Congress chief, joined the BJP final June.
