THIRUVANANTHAPURAM > Public Distribution Minister G R Anil will inaugurate the state-level distribution of free Onkit to six lakh AAY (Yellow) card holders, NPI card holders who’re residents of varied welfare establishments and all ration card holders within the disaster-affected Wayanad area tomorrow at 8 am at Thiruvananthapuram Perurkada Bapuji Library Auditorium.
Onkits will begin distribution by means of ration retailers within the state from tomorrow. Officers will ship the kits on to residents of welfare establishments from September 10. Distribute one package to 4 individuals dwelling in welfare establishments.
As in earlier years, the merchandise within the package have been decided by giving significance to the general public sector establishments of the state. The Onakit consists of 14 objects together with chickpea nuts, semiya payasam combine, milma ghee, cashew nuts, coconut oil, sambar powder, chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, tea, chickpeas, tuvar nuts and powder and a fabric bag.
