Hooghly: The woman died on account of snake chew on Monday evening in Akhna underneath Polwa police station. Nayasa Khatoon (8) was bitten by a snake whereas she was sleeping at evening. Seeing his well being deteriorating, his household took him to Mogra Rural Hospital. The woman died throughout therapy. On receiving the knowledge, the police of Mogra police station reached the spot. The physique was despatched to Chuchuda Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
