Kannur: Police have seized gold from a passenger who was on customs inspection at Kannur Worldwide Airport. A group led by Airport Police Inspector A Kuttikrishnan seized 728 grams of gold price Rs 37 lakh from Koothuparamba Naravur resident Naheem Ahmed, who arrived on an Air India Categorical from Sharjah at round 4 am on Saturday.
Naheem Ahmed was taken into custody and questioned after being present in a suspicious scenario exterior the terminal constructing. He was launched on bail after calculating the quantity of gold separated. The gold can be produced in courtroom. That is the primary time that police have seized gold from a passenger on the Kannur airport after a customs inspection.
