Carlos Gonzalez, a Los Angeles sheriff’s deputy, said, “I would say that it was a great thing that Mr. Woods came out of it alive.” Los Angeles County officials said Woods, 45, was conscious and able to speak when the first person arrived at the scene at 7.18 am after the crash. Both legs of Woods are seriously injured.
Gonzalez said, “Tiger is able to talk to me. Woods appeared incredibly calm, because he was in shock.”
