Sports desk. Indian cricket team’s star player Shreyas Iyer underwent a successful shoulder surgery on Thursday. Shreyas Iyer suffered a shoulder injury during the ODI series against England. After which he was also left out of the remaining matches of the series and the 14th season of the Indian Premier League.

Shreyas Iyer tweeted from his official Twitter account and informed the fans that his shoulder operation was successful and he will try to return to the ground as soon as possible. Iyer posted his picture and tweeted that the operation was successful and I will return with full commitment as soon as possible. Thank you for your kind wishes.
26-year-old Shreyas Iyer was injured in an attempt to stop Johnny Bairstow’s shot during the first ODI on March 23 in Pune. Due to this, he was left out of the remaining matches against England and also from the IPL. Iyer, the captain of the Delhi Capitals in the IPL, can stay out for four months.
