New Delhi. The federal government has determined to provide an interest-free advance of Rs 10,000 to all its officers and staff on the event of festivals. The federal government has taken this step as a part of a plan to extend demand within the economic system by rising shopper spending.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made the announcement at a press convention on Monday. Sitharaman mentioned that the system of giving advance for the pageant to the Central Authorities staff from the Sixth Pay Fee was abolished.
He mentioned that as a one-time measure, the federal government has determined to provide an interest-free advance of Rs 10,000 to all officers and staff. He mentioned that this advance of Rs. 10,000 will likely be within the type of pre-paid RuPay card. It should be spent by 31 March, 2021. He mentioned that the staff should pay this advance in 10 installments. The federal government will spend Rs.4,000 crore on this. (Company)
