Higher Noida: A conflict broke out between the organizers and entrepreneurs within the three-day World Startup Mega Conference being organized on the Expo Mart situated at Data Park in Higher Noida on Friday.
The entrepreneurs alleged that the organizers had promised that the occasion would assure an enormous flip up of buyers who would fund their startups. Nevertheless, they alleged that no main investor attended the occasion.
The police reached the spot and pacified the entrepreneurs who demanded their cash be returned.
The entrepreneurs additionally climbed on the stage and created a ruckus.
The entrepreneurs claimed that the organizers had stated that the conference can be attended by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, main entrepreneurs, enablers, founders, creators, VCs, businesses, entrepreneurs, retailers, influencers, designers and buyers, amongst others.
A vendor from Hyderabad stated that he purchased three passes for Rs 15,000 since they have been informed that 1,500 buyers would attend this system and that that they had been cheated.
The World Startup Mega conference might be held until March 26.
