Hate campaign: Kangana’s account locked up on Twitter

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account has been deleted for making anti-minority racist remarks. The move follows hate speech related to the Bengal elections. Kangana Ranaut said there were other social media platforms to raise her voice, adding that Twitter was controlled by whites and that the move was part of racial hatred against blacks.

Kangana Ranaut tweeted about the post-election violence in Bengal, calling on Narendra Modi to be a “super goon” to fight the goons. The tweet alluded to the genocide that took place in Gujarat in 2002 when Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister. This was followed by Twitter’s action. Earlier, Modi-affiliated Kangana Ranaut had made several hateful remarks on Twitter.
Last year, Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli’s account was also suspended by Twitter.
