
The Central Water Fee (CWC) has issued an Orange Alert for the areas of North Bihar. India Meteorological Division (IMD) knowledge confirmed that Bihar and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal obtained very heavy rainfall over the last 24 hours ended at 8.30 am on Tuesday.
“Heavy rain is reported in the catchment area of Kosi and Bagmati in Nepal region. The water level in these transboundary rivers may rise in north Bihar,” a CWC official stated.
