Thiruvananthapuram: Health Minister Veena George has ordered an inquiry into the current incidents at psychological well being facilities in Thrissur and Kozhikode. The investigation can be carried out by the Deputy Director of the Division of Health accountable for psychological well being. The well being division is investigating the sooner incidents.
An emergency assembly was convened beneath the chairmanship of Minister Veena George to debate points in psychological well being facilities. The Minister directed the Principal Secretary, Division of Health to submit a research and advice to a particular committee on modernization of psychological well being facilities, growth of infrastructure and patient-friendly amenities.
