India ranked 176th out of 180 countries in Nature Conservation Index, Congress cornered Modi government

In response to stories, India has been ranked 176th amongst 180 nations within the Nature Conservation Index. Within the index, India has been positioned barely above Kiribati which is ranked a hundred and eightieth within the checklist. Turkey is at 179th, Iraq is at 178th and Micronesia is at 177th.

The Congress on Sunday took a dig on the Modi authorities over India being ranked 176th out of 180 nations within the Nature Conservation Index and requested whether or not the authenticity of Israel's Ben Gurion University, which is co-developing the index, must also be questioned. There was no rapid response from the central authorities on the alleged rating.

Jairam Ramesh, Congress common secretary and the get together's communications in-charge, mentioned, “Whenever India ranks very low in any global index or anything else, the immediate reaction of people banging drums and cheering the Prime Minister's name is the index. And it is being termed as a conspiracy to defame the country by agenda-driven non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

He asked what would be the reaction to the recently released Nature Conservation Index in which India was ranked 176th out of 180 countries. Ramesh said, “The co-developer of this index is Ben Gurion University of Israel. Will the authenticity of this university also be questioned?

In response to the information of All the way down to Earth, India has been positioned at 176th place within the checklist of 180 nations within the Nature Conservation Index. In response to stories, on this index India has been positioned simply above Kiribati which is at a hundred and eightieth place within the checklist. Whereas nations like Turkey (179th), Iraq (178th) and Micronesia (177th) are under India.
