India shines in World Para Championship, Deepti wins gold medal in 400 meter T20 race

India's Deepti Jeevanji completed fifty fifth within the ladies's 400m T20 race on the World Para Athletics Championships. Received gold medal with world document of 07 seconds.

Deepti beat America's Briana Clark by 55. Breaking the world document of 12 seconds which he had set final yr in Paris.

Türkiye's Asil Onder 55. Coming in second place was 19 seconds whereas Ecuador's Lijansela Angulo was 56. She stood third with a time of 68 seconds.

Deepti on Sunday achieved an Asian document time of 56. Received his warmth race by 18 seconds.

The T20 class race is for intellectually disabled gamers.

Yogesh Kathunia scored 41.41 in males's F56 discus throw. Received silver medal with 80 meters.

India has thus far received one gold, one silver and two bronze medals.
