The Assam authorities on Wednesday introduced that the state authorities will present mid-day meals to 40 lakh college students under 14 years of age at residence through the 21-day nationwide lockdown in opposition to the novel coronavirus or Covid-19 pandemic.
Assam Chief Secretary Kumar Sanjay Krishna stated that 40 lakh college students in Guwahati shall be offered mid-day meals at residence.

He additional stated that the state authorities has taken all essential steps to fight Covid-19 and organised services for quarantine and geared up healthcare services to all government-run hospitals within the state.

We’ve got about 150 ventilators and attempting to obtain some extra which we shall be getting inside every week. Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal stated that anyone discovered violating quarantine orders shall be dealt strictly by the state authorities.
