Seven people have already been arrested. According to police sources, the accused have admitted their guilt in the police interrogation. “We have already arrested a total of seven people,” Vijay Kumar Thube, superintendent of police in the area, told reporters. Three of them were involved in the rape. Then they killed and hung the body on the tree. The accused pleaded guilty. We formed a special investigation team on Sunday after the incident. Due to him, the investigation was completed in just 72 hours. ”

The two bodies were recovered on Saturday from a remote village in the Kokrajhar area of ​​Assam. It is known that one is only 14 years old and the other is only 18 years old. Chief Minister Himanta Bishwa Sharma is also happy with the swift action of Assam Police. “Police have arrested Mozammel Sheikh, Najibul Sheikh and Faruk Rahman in connection with the murder and rape of two minor tribal girls in Kokrajhar district,” he tweeted. The two teenagers were first strangled to death and hanged by these heinous accused. The Assam Police has done a really commendable job. ”
