Punjab Kings have appointed former Australian first-class cricketer Damien Wright as the bowling coach of the team for the 14th season of the IPL. Wright represented Tasmania for a large part of his career. Wright has considerable experience as a bowling coach and was also the coach of the BBL team Hobart Hurricanes. Wright has also served as the head coach of the Bangladesh Under-19 cricket team.

Wright said on the occasion that I am very happy to be appointed as the bowling coach for the Punjab Kings. The team is fantastic and there is a lot of potential in this team and I look forward to working with an amazing support staff team in this season of IPL.
