Jharkhand Administrative Service will become premier service, officers will become SDO directly

Premier Service shall be shaped by reorganizing the Jharkhand Administrative Service Cadre within the state. Together with this, re-structure of posts shall be ready. Jharkhand Income Service and Jharkhand Rural Improvement Service shall be shaped for posting within the block and zone. Contemplating this, a six-member committee has been shaped beneath the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary to make suggestions for this to the state authorities. The Division of Personnel and Administrative Reforms has included the Improvement Commissioner as members on this committee together with Finance Division, Rural Improvement Division, Income and Land Reforms Division and Further Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary and Secretaries of the Division of Personnel and Administrative Reforms. Is saved. The committee will submit its suggestions to the state authorities inside three months.
