Srinagar: An encounter has began between safety forces personnel and terrorists in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, safety officers stated on Wednesday.
The encounter began when a group of safety forces launched a cordon and search operation in Hadigam village of Kulgam round midnight on the idea of intelligence inputs concerning the presence of terrorists. “During the search operation, the hiding terrorists opened fire on the security forces team, to which the jawans also retaliated and an encounter broke out,” a safety official stated. The marketing campaign continues.
