Jnanpith Award winner Akkitam Achuthan dies

Palakkad Eminent Malayalam poet litterateur Akkitam Achuthan Nambutiri, who was conferred with the Jnanpith Award, died on Thursday in a personal hospital in Thrissur attributable to age-related sickness. He was 94. He’s survived by a son and a daughter. His spouse had died the earlier yr itself.
