Karnataka Congress complains to Election Commission against Draupadi Murmu, alleging wrongful voting

The Congress has alleged that Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kaithal, senior BJP chief B. s. Yediyurappa, BJP chief whip Satheesh Reddy and BJP ministers and different senior leaders collectively referred to as all of the BJP MLAs to a 5 star lodge in Bengaluru on July 17.

The grievance states that below the guise of coaching periods for the legislators to vote within the presidential election, they had been supplied with luxurious rooms, meals, liquor, drinks, leisure. On the morning of July 18, nearly all of the ministers, MLAs and different BJP leaders got here to the Vidhana Soudha from the lodge in BMTC air-conditioned buses to solid their votes. All this has been reported in each print and digital media. The Congress mentioned that each one these acts of BJP leaders are nothing greater than bribing MLAs and exerting undue affect on voters on the behest of Murmu.
