Kashmir is in turmoil again; Expected Yield 15000 MT

After two years of hunger, cherries started to reach in giant portions within the markets of Kashmir. Harvesting is well known until the tip of June within the small orchards of Ganderbal, Shopian, Srinagar and Baramulla districts. The whole space underneath cherry cultivation in Jammu and Kashmir is 4700 ha. The yield is estimated at 13,000 to fifteen,000 metric tons per 12 months, in line with the Division of Agriculture.
