Kashmir: LET terrorist associate arrested in Baramulla


Srinagar: Safety forces have arrested a suspected terrorist affiliate of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Officers gave this data on Wednesday. Police mentioned a joint power of Baramulla Police, Military’s 29 RR and two battalions SSB apprehended a suspicious individual whereas organising a naka publish at Sihpora Pattan.

He mentioned that an individual sporting pheran (robe) coming from Matipora tried to flee from the spot on seeing the naka publish, however the alert joint forces chased him and caught him. Throughout the search of the suspect, 71 rounds of AK-47 cartridges have been recovered from him and he was instantly taken into custody.

Throughout police interrogation, he revealed his identify as Ali Mohammad Bhat and that he’s a resident of Bonichkal Arampora Go. He informed that he’s an affiliate of terrorists of banned terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba.
