Thiruvananthapuram. Former MLA and senior Kerala chief P C George, arrested for making hate speeches towards the Muslim neighborhood, was on Thursday despatched to 14-day judicial custody.
Sources stated George, a seven-time MLA, was delivered to the Armed Reserve Police camp at Nandavanam right here from Kochi at 12.25 pm and was later produced on the Justice of the Peace’s chamber at Vanchiyur court docket at 7.45 am at the moment. The court docket despatched him to judicial custody citing violation of bail guidelines.
George was despatched to Purpura District Jail after completion of his medical checkup on the Authorities Hospital, after which the Thiruvananthapuram Fort Police reached Kochi at the moment. The previous MLA was remanded in custody by the Palarivsom police on Wednesday night.
