MUMBAI: Maharashtra’s opposition events on Thursday attacked Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s “road show” for buyers in Mumbai with the Congress and Shiv Sena-UBT labeling it as politics of “religion and business”.

Referring to Adityanath’s conferences with some Bollywood actors on Wednesday, Raut softened his stance, saying that if UP is eager on establishing a movie business in that state, it will be welcome because the transfer may spur the event there.
“It was Dadasaheb Phalke who launched the movie business and bequeathed it to the entire nation, it belongs to everyone… There are already very massive movie industries within the south, Andhra Pradesh and I really feel the movie enterprise ought to come up in each state he mentioned.
