Maharashtra Political Crisis: Three more Shiv Sena MLAs leave for Guwahati

MUMBAI: Amid the continued political disaster in Maharashtra’s ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) authorities, three extra Shiv Sena MLAs on Thursday left for Assam’s capital Guwahati to affix the insurgent camp led by cupboard minister Eknath Shide. A detailed aide of Shide stated that Sawantwadi MLA Deepak Keskar, Chembur MLA Mangesh Kudalkar and Dadar MLA Sada Sarvankar left for Guwahati from Mumbai within the morning.

4 MLAs, together with Maharashtra minister Gulabrao Patil, had left for Guwahati on Wednesday night. Sources stated that Shide will seek the advice of the MLAs accompanying him after which determine when to return to Mumbai. After reaching Guwahati on Wednesday, Shide had claimed the help of 46 MLAs, together with some independents. He had written a letter to the Deputy Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Meeting, which was signed by 35 Shiv Sena MLAs.

On this, Bharat Gogavale was made the chief whip of Shiv Sena Legislature Party instead of Sunil Prabhu. Shide has stated that the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and the Congress are robust within the MVA alliance, whereas the Shiv Sena, which leads the federal government and its staff, is weakening. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray vacated his official residence on Wednesday night time with an emotional attraction and supply to resign.
