Maharashtra Speaker did not follow Supreme Court’s instructions in decision on Shiv Sena case – expert opinion

Shiv Sena-UBT chief spokesperson and MP Sanjay Raut criticized the Speaker’s choice, saying “he has handed over Shiv Sena to a bunch of thieves”. He mentioned, “The Speaker’s decision is a stain on the glorious democratic traditions of Maharashtra… Such a decision will not be acceptable even to his (Narvekar’s) wife.”

SS-UBT president and former CM Uddhav Thackeray, his spouse Rashmi, sons Aditya and Tejas, prime celebration leaders, office-bearers and employees had been current on the city corridor assembly because the occasion was live-streamed throughout the state.
