Manish Tripathi, who decorated Ramlala in Pitambari dhoti-angavastra, said – it was challenging, we prayed daily
When the idol of Lord Ram was consecrated within the Ram temple of Ayodhya on January 22 and other people had his divine darshan, he was seen sporting Pitambari dhoti and pink coloured physique garments. His look was supernatural. This Pitambari dhoti and angavastra of Lord Shri Ram has been designed by Delhi’s costume designer Manish Tripathi.
The garments had been named ‘Shubh Vastram’
Speaking to the media, Manish Tripathi stated that I’ve named these garments ‘Shubh Vastram’. I take into account myself lucky that I acquired the chance to do that work. I’ve acquired these garments specifically made in Varanasi. These garments have been labored with gold and silver wires. The embroidery performed on these garments can be performed with gold and silver wires. Our staff was working in Ayodhya from Delhi. A complete of 12-15 folks had been working within the staff.

Manish Tripathi informed that there are designs of conch, lotus, chakra and peacock on the garments of the Lord. He informed that this work was difficult for us as a result of we didn’t get the usual of the idol. Whereas making the costume of Lord Ram, we at all times prayed to Lord Shri Ram to offer us energy and information us as to how we must always work. I’d say that it’s God’s grace that the costume turned out to be so lovely and excellent. The devotees had stored a picture of Ramlala of their thoughts for 500 years, we had been useful in carving that picture, it’s our success.
