New Delhi > Narendra Modi’s 2013 speech praising the BBC is once more being mentioned after the central authorities banned the BBC documentary. Modi’s assertion was that BBC information has extra credibility than Aakashvani and Doordarshan information.

In 2013, when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi praised the BBC. At the moment, Modi even stated that the BBC is extra credible than the official information channels of the Indian authorities, Doordarshan Akashvani.

Modi’s speech is available in response to the BJP authorities’s ban on the BBC documentary ‘India – The Modi Query’, saying it has a colonial agenda.
