A lookout notice has also been issued to five main accused in the case in which seven people have been arrested. 23.4 lakh, gold worth Rs. 1.5 lakh and a loan repayment document of Rs. 6 lakh were recovered from the house of one of the accused after the robbery. It is learned that the stolen money was taken away by the three main accused. The Quotations team paid the participants at Kattoor and released them.
Crores belong to the BJP
It is said that the money was given to Dharmarajan by Yuva Morcha leader Sunil Naik. Former Yuva Morcha treasurer Sunil Naik, who was questioned by the police, is a close associate of a senior BJP leader. He is close to state president K Surendran and MT Ramesh.
Kozhikode: A complaint has been lodged that Rs 25 lakh given by Abkari Dharmarajan was stolen in Kodakara by creating a fake vehicle accident. The police received a tip that the complaint was false and that Rs 3.5 crore was in the car which the BJP had brought for the election. Soon after the robbery, the police received information that a senior BJP leader had received a phone call and within minutes, two district leaders had reached Kodakara.
Dharmarajan’s RSS links and Sunil Naik’s links came to light when BJP leaders reiterated that they had nothing to do with the case. Deepak is a BJP office bearer in Vellikulangara East Kodali house who was arrested in the case.
