-2 cup gram flour (besan)
-1 teaspoon Green Cardamom
-TS food food coloring
-1 liter milk
-6 cups ghee
-1 pinch baking soda
-3 cups sugar
-4 cup water
The way to make laddus is as follows…
To make Motichoor Laddus, first of all prepare sugar syrup. For this, heat the water by placing a large pan on a medium flame. Now add sugar to it. Stir until it melts completely. Let it boil. Then add milk and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
If foam comes during boiling, remove it. Keep stirring until uniform consistency is reached. Now add cardamom powder and orange food color and stir it slowly and keep it aside. Now mix gram flour and milk in a large bowl until it becomes soft.
Now add baking soda and mix well. Heat the ghee in a deep frying pan. Now make a hole just above the oil with the help of a ladle and put some batter in it. Put it in hot oil and cook till it becomes golden and soft. If kept on tissue, oil will drain. Now put it in the sugar syrup and mix well.
Now leave it to cool and make small and medium sized laddus from it. Get your special laddu of Motichur ready. Now first offer Bajrangbali to it and then taste its prasad and give it to other family members as well.
