Central approval for the tasks submitted by the state authorities for the event of two nationwide highways within the state. An Rs 804.76 crore venture has been sanctioned for the event of Nationwide Freeway 85 Adimali – Kumali and 766 Malaparam – Pudupadi roads beneath the Public Works Division.

350.75 crore rupees have been allotted for land acquisition for Adimali-Kumali Nationwide Freeway growth and 454.1 crore rupees for Malaparum-Puthuppady highway connecting Kozhikode and Wayanad.
